1. About these terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of MyChallenge.co.za and any resources, educational content, applications, events, consultations, products or services made available through the website.

The website is operated by Startup Strategist, operated by Craig Parsons, referred to in these terms as “Startup Strategist”, “My AI Challenge”, “we”, “us” or “our”.

By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the website.

2. Purpose of My AI Challenge

My AI Challenge documents Craig Parsons’ public journey of learning, testing and implementing practical artificial-intelligence tools in business while pursuing an ambitious revenue goal.

The challenge is an educational business experiment. The £1 million figure is a goal, not a prediction, promise or guarantee of income, business success or investment return.

3. No professional or financial advice

Website content is provided for general educational and informational purposes. It is not legal, tax, accounting, investment, financial, medical, cybersecurity or other regulated professional advice.

Although Craig Parsons has professional business and accounting experience, content published through My AI Challenge does not create an accountant-client, tax-practitioner-client, fiduciary or other regulated professional relationship. A separate written engagement is required for any professional service.

You remain responsible for obtaining appropriate professional advice and making your own business decisions.

4. AI limitations

Artificial-intelligence tools can produce incomplete, outdated, biased or incorrect information. Outputs should be reviewed by a competent person before being used for legal, financial, employment, customer, safety, privacy or other important decisions.

You must not upload confidential, personal, proprietary or client information into an AI system unless you have authority to do so and have assessed the system’s privacy and security arrangements.

We do not guarantee that any AI tool, prompt, workflow or implementation will be accurate, uninterrupted, suitable for your circumstances or available indefinitely.

5. Eligibility and acceptable use

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into an agreement to use paid services.

You agree not to:

use the website or materials unlawfully or fraudulently;

interfere with website operation or security;

attempt unauthorised access to accounts, systems or data;

upload malicious code or harmful content;

scrape, reproduce or redistribute substantial website content without permission;

misrepresent your identity, experience or results;

use our materials to infringe another person’s privacy, confidentiality or intellectual-property rights;

use AI guidance to facilitate unlawful, deceptive or harmful activity.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect users, the business or the website.

6. Information, resources and availability

We aim to keep website information useful and current but do not warrant that all content is complete, accurate or continuously available.

We may change, suspend or withdraw website content, resources, events or features without notice.

Free resources are supplied for personal or internal business use and may not be resold, republished, shared as a competing product or presented as your own work without written permission.

7. AI Opportunity Audits and services

Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance into an audit, programme or service.

The scope, price, deliverables, timetable and responsibilities for a paid service will be set out in a separate proposal, order form or written agreement.

An AI Opportunity Audit identifies possible opportunities and priorities. It does not guarantee that an implementation will save a particular amount of time, reduce costs or generate revenue.

You are responsible for providing accurate information, reviewing recommendations and deciding whether to implement them.

8. Purchases and payment

Where paid products, subscriptions or services are offered:

prices, currency, payment schedule and included deliverables will be displayed at checkout or in a written proposal;

payment must be made through the approved payment method;

you are responsible for providing accurate billing information;

any recurring subscription will continue at the disclosed interval until cancelled under the applicable offer terms;

additional work outside an agreed scope may require a separate fee and approval.

We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing errors before accepting an order.

9. Cancellations and refunds

Any product-specific cancellation or refund terms displayed at checkout or in a written service agreement form part of these terms.

Unless specific terms state otherwise:

you may cancel a recurring subscription before its next billing date to prevent the next charge;

fees for work already performed, booked live sessions or immediately supplied digital content may be non-refundable to the extent permitted by law;

where applicable consumer law gives you a cancellation or refund right, that legal right is not affected;

requests should be sent to [email protected] with the relevant order details.

We will not apply a term that unlawfully removes a consumer’s statutory rights.

10. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the website and its original text, frameworks, prompts, templates, videos, graphics, downloads, course materials and branding are owned by or licensed to Startup Strategist and are protected by intellectual-property law.

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use purchased or downloaded materials for your own personal or internal business purposes.

You may not, without written permission:

resell, sublicense or distribute the materials;

upload them to another course, membership, prompt library or file-sharing service;

remove copyright or ownership notices;

reproduce substantial parts publicly;

use our name, logo or materials in a way that implies endorsement or partnership.

11. Your content and case studies

You retain ownership of information and materials you provide. You grant us only the permission reasonably necessary to process them for your enquiry or agreed service.

We will not publish your name, business, testimonial, confidential information or identifiable results as a case study without permission. Where permission is given, the approved scope and wording should be recorded.

You confirm that you have the right to provide any information or material you submit and that doing so does not violate another person’s rights.

12. Third-party platforms and links

The website may use or link to third-party tools, AI services, payment providers, social networks and websites.

Third parties operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their availability, content, security or independent actions.

Mentioning or demonstrating a tool does not necessarily constitute an endorsement or guarantee.

13. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Subject to those protections and to the extent permitted by law:

use of free website content is at your own risk;

we are not liable for decisions made solely in reliance on general educational content or unverified AI output;

we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, goodwill or data arising from the use of free content;

our total liability relating to a paid product or service will not exceed the amount you paid for the product or service giving rise to the claim, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

This section does not affect mandatory consumer rights.

14. Privacy

Our processing of personal information is explained in the Privacy Policy published on this website.

By submitting information, you confirm that it is accurate and that you have authority to provide it.

15. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to a product, community or service where a user materially breaches these terms, misuses the platform, threatens another person, infringes rights or creates a security or legal risk.

Where reasonable, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to address the issue.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes in our services, technology or legal obligations.

The current version and last-updated date will appear on this page. Material changes affecting an existing paid service will be communicated where required.

17. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer or data-protection law in your country applies.

The courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction. This does not prevent a consumer from relying on mandatory rights or bringing a claim in another court where applicable law permits.

Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us at [email protected] so that we can try to resolve the matter promptly and fairly.

18. General

If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

A failure to enforce a provision immediately does not waive the right to enforce it later.

You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent. We may transfer our rights and obligations as part of a genuine business reorganisation or sale, subject to applicable law.
